I designed this series with a focus on soft structure and familiar rhythm, drawing from the classic woven motifs that inspired the name. These patterns are meant to feel welcoming and versatile, with colors that settle easily into a room while still adding quiet character. The Caning Collection is simple, intentional, and rooted in the kind of everyday beauty that makes a home feel like home.
Marlowe is named for a little girl I once nannied for and grew to love dearly, along with her spirited brother Cohen and their wonderful family. These colors remind me of afternoons spent with them, full of imagination, laughter, and the kind of easy joy children bring into a home. Marlowe is a design rooted in warmth and memory, carrying a bit of that tender, everyday magic into the spaces it touches.
All swatches (4x4x4”) featured in the Caning collection are designed to give you a tangible introduction to each pattern’s rhythm and presence. While samples are available for purchase, all full applications are developed thoughtfully and in partnership with Sarah to ensure the scale, material, and colorway align beautifully with your space.
